The trail follows the banks of Bakkaá river up to Hrafnatindur mountain offering a remarkable view over the fjord. Thereupon the trail continues to Kúahjalli and down again to Geitavík where a monument dedicated to the reowned Icelandic painter Jóhannes S. Kjarval stands. The hike should take about 3 hours with 350 m elevation.
