Örvar Smárason is a poet, writer, composer, musician and visual artist. Well known from the Icelandic music scene, from bands like MúM and FM Belfast, and gaining recognition as a writer and visual artist. Örvar was an Artist-in-residence at Klaustrid recidency last spring and is now back to show the result at Skriðuklaustur.
The exhibition UHUland is made with mixed techniques and is influenced by residency stay. UHUland opens in Gallery Klaustur on Friday, July 26th, Everyone is welcome to the opening.
The exhibition runs until August 23 and is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.
