Austurland Freeride Festival - Ski trip from Fjarðarheiði to Eskifjörður with Wildboys

This is a fun and challenging one-day trip under the guidance of Skúli Júlíusson and Óskar Wild Ingólfsson, going from Fjarðarheiði to Eskifjörður.
We will meet at Egilsstaðar Airport at 09:00, ready for the day.

Tour Schedule:

Friday, March 3^rd

• 09:00 – Arrival at Egilsstaður airport, ready for the day
• 09:15 – Depart by bus to Fjarðarheiði, where the ski trip begins.
  Walk over Gagnheiði and slide down to Mjóafjarðarheiði.
  From there, hike up to the Fönn glacier, from where we will descend Þverárdalur all the way down to Veturhús in Eskifjörður.
  A bus picks up the team at Veturhús and shuttles up to Oddsskarð, from where we will ski down to Randulffs sjóhús.

This is a challenging ski trip under the excellent guidance of Skúli Júl and Óskar Wild.

Equipment

• Standard day trip gear for a ski trip. Alpine skis or split board and skins.
• It is necessary to have skis/snowboard crampons and, of course, avalanche gear (beacon, probe, and shovel)
• Don't forget the lunch!

• 15,000 ISK per person
• The price includes bus trips and guides
