Cozy accommodation located in the countryside 18 km from the village Egilsstaðir on road 931. Peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, a good place to see the northern lights in wintertime. Here are 2 cottages 24 square meters with a bed up to 4 people. It includes WC and sink but showers are in the service house a few meters away as well as the kitchen/sitting area and a room with a pool table and dart. Besides the service house is a hot tub and sauna for our guests. We have 3 rooms in an apartment with 2 shared bathrooms and a kitchen. The Snæfellsskáli lodge has space for 45 persons. It has oil - stove, heating system and WC. GPS location: 64.48.250N/ 15.38.600V. Heating, water, WC.  The campsite is located on a sand close to the cabin in the national park Vatnajökulsþjóðgarður and is by road no F909.  It is about 1 km away from the walking path to the mountain Snæfell. A few marked walking paths are also close by. All opening dates can change due to weather conditions.
